A PURPOSE DRIVEN MISSION:
Established in 2008, Chef Aaron McCargo Jr created Play to Win (PTW). This Program transforms the lives of at-risk male youth ages 14-24 in Camden County, NJ by motivating, mentoring, and preparing them to adopt core values that will lead to personal, professional, and spiritual success.
PTW offers an enrichment based mentoring program for young men in Camden County. Mentoring sessions are scheduled twice a month and designed to focus on college prep, career readiness, 21st century skills, cultural enlightenment, and physical fitness.
As the organization prides itself on improving the lives of young men, PTW participants succeed:
90% attend college, the military, or the join the workforce.
Graduation rates 40% higher than Camden County Public Schools average
POST-GRADUATION ENGAGEMENT:
For those who have made the decision to go onto college or some form of vocational training, our PTW
Scholars program is designed to help our young men acquire the resources necessary to do so successfully.
To date, nine (9) young men have graduated from the PTW Scholars program and have gone on to join the
United States Navy, attended Camden County College, Rutgers University, Rowan University, Ursinus College,
and Stockton University while receiving scholarships and numerous awards and achievements along the way
